A neuropsychological assessment is a performance-based method to assess cognitive and behavioral functioning. This method is used to understand the nature of difficulties. Each assessment is tailored to the situation and aims at providing answers, resources or tips to overcome the difficulties experienced by the client.
PSYCHOTHERAPY AND COGNITIVE REHABILITATION
Psychotherapy and rehabilitation are typically used to treat a mental disorder rather than only rely on medical means. The aim of cognitive rehabilitation is to give the individual tools, techniques, tricks, and self-control to improve success and quality of life. Both psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation focus on empowerment and quality of life.
At IC-Neuro, we believe in sharing knowledge. Whether it is a new diagnosis, a recent test or assessment tool, current topics, or to give information to parents, teachers, and clients themselves, you will surely find an activity that answers your need. If not, let us know what you would like.
